Memory of Light is my first photobook, fully handmade, and comprises 3 sets of cyanotypes made from enlarged and original negatives of 15 analogue photographs, exposed under direct sunlight. Taken in Urbino, Venice, and Trieste, the images are a tribute to the distinctive light of the Adriatic and depict iconic places such as Harry's Bar, Palazzo Ducale, Barcola interwoven with intimate moments of everyday life.
It is printed in a limited series of 5 copies.
You can find a couple of copies at the independent shop Off The Books, at Obor Market. On July 11th, they will have a pop-up shop at Piua Studio, for the Bucharest Analog Weekend, and the book will be displayed there as well.
